Message From Audrey Hovis!

Hello, I am Audrey Hovis, Head of School for Lincoln Christian Academy, home of the Warriors! Lincoln Christian Academy will proudly open our doors in the Fall of 2023. To say that we are excited and blessed is an understatement! We have hit the ground running with the guidance of God and the wisdom from our elders to bring to you the very best Christian School experience for your Kindergarten-5th grade and Hybrid Middle/High School Students!

About Lincoln Christian Academy

Established in 2023 as a ministry of Covenant Church in Lincolnton, NC. Lincoln Christian Academy is approved as an educational institution as defined by the North Carolina Constitution, the North Carolina General Statutes, and the Rules and Regulations adopted by the State Board of Education of North Carolina and serves students in Kindergarten-5th grade and Hybrid Middle/High School

Kindergarten Assistant

Kristie Dellinger

I have worked with children for over 20 years and truly love helping little ones learn and grow. I am married to Ted, and we have two children, Camden and Ambry. I love teaching, supporting the lead teacher in every way I can, and sharing God’s love as we teach your child about the Bible. I look forward to getting to know each of your wonderful families.

Olivia Wiley

Hello, my name is Olivia Wiley, and this is my first year at Lincoln Christian Academy. I will be a Kindergarten teacher's assistant in Ms. Sellers' class this year. I'm so excited to guide your children while we learn about the Bible this year!

2nd/3rd Assistant - After School Director

Penny Ervin

Hi, my name is Ms.Ervin. I will be your 2nd and 3rd grade teacher assistant. As well as the Before and After School Care Director. I am looking forward to teaching Bible to our 2nd- and 3rd-graders this year. I am looking forward to watching them grow spiritually this year in God’s Word. God has blessed me with a beautiful family. I enjoy spending time with my three grown children, my daughter in love, and my three precious grandchildren. My favorite Bible verse is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Philippians 4:13.

S.R.O

Deputy S.D. Rhyne

Hello, I’m Deputy S.D. Rhyne and I will be your S.R.O. for Lincoln Christian Acadamy. I am a lifelong resident of Gaston County where I graduated from North Gaston High School in 2000. I started my career in Law Enforcment as an Animal Control Officer after High School. I graduated from Gaston College BLET program in 2016 and worked for Gaston County Sheriff’s Office where I started off in Detention, then K-9 division. I later came over to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office as a Court Bailiff and now as an S.R.O. I am also on the Sheriff’s Office Drone Team and Crowd Management Team. To the Administration, Faculty, Parents, and Students, please feel free to come to me with any questions and/or concerns, I am here for you. I’m blessed that God has given me this opportunity to mentor, encourage, and to share my knowledge and experiences with Lincoln County’s future generation. GO WARRIORS!!

Tutor

Lori Matney

My name is Mrs. Lori Matney, and I’m proud to serve as the school tutor at LCA! With a background of 32 years teaching experience in elementary education, I’m here to help students grow their skills, overcome academic challenges, and feel more confident in the classroom. I look forward to working together with the LCA team and making positive learning experiences throughout the school! Most importantly, I want to share the love of Jesus with all I come in contact with! When I'm not supporting students, I love time with my family! I have been married to Tim for 33 years and am a proud parent to two wonderful children, Tryston and Leah. And, I just gained a fantastic son-in-law(love), Nakathon. I can't forget Dixie, our family dog of 13 years who we adore! Another passion I enjoy is photography! Fun fact - My daughter and I have a photography business together. I praise God for all of these wonderful opportunities and blessings!
